2025/2026 Season

Powered by the chart-topping hits of the undisputed Princess of Pop, Once Upon A One More Time turns our favorite fairytales upside down with a clever twist! When a fairy godmother goes rogue and plops copies of The Feminine Mystique in the laps of classic heroines, the damsels embark on a quest to rewrite their stories and redefine “happily ever after.”

Once Upon A One More Time weaves 23 of Britney Spears’ smash singles—like “Crazy,” “Oops!…I Did It Again,” “Circus,” “Lucky,” and “Toxic”—into “a big, modern, musical dance party, with Britney’s beating heart at its core.” (ABC News)

It's a crazy twist on what happens if Happily Ever After is not what's best for you.

Stansbury is performing the High School Version of the show and an Audience Content warning would be:  It is generally considered suitable for older children and up due to mild adult content and some language, but some find the content appropriate for a wider family audience.  The show is visually stunning and carries a feminist message, although some reviewers found the message less impactful than its entertainment value.

A Utah Regional Premiere!

A story of power, privilege, and visibility disguised as a teen comedy. When cornered by the no-nonsense guidance counselor, a charming but slimy high school senior tells the story of how he crafted a scheme to manipulate the vote for Homecoming Queen in favor of his kind-hearted but unpopular friend to settle a deep-seated score. His plan went horribly right.

Coronation is a play blending the cutting humor of Mean Girls and the 1999 film Election with the emotional undercurrent of Dear Evan Hansen as it explores manipulation, high school politics, and authenticity with an ensemble cast

Our Advanced Drama Class will be performing this show.

In Gideon Versus the Gods of Cool, Gideon Greenwich, a "delinquent nerd," is forced to join the football team to avoid expulsion.

At a fraternity party, he discovers that the jocks are being controlled by a god of sports. This leads Gideon to uncover a larger conspiracy where the entire high school is controlled by otherworldly beings posing as teachers.

Gideon teams up with unlikely allies, including a star quarterback and a cheerleader, to fight against the "gods of cool" (god of sports, fashion, and popularity). They must confront these gods and their mind-altering powers to save their school and reclaim their lives from the control of these forces.

For fans of Sky High, Percy Jackson, and 80s music, Gideon Versus the Gods of Cool from Great Hall Theatrical is an energetic rock opera full of surprising and humorous twists that you simply can’t miss!
